A man celebrates a homeless woman's birthday
Earlier this week Ann Curry asked for random acts of kindness in honor of the 26 victims of the Sandy Hook shooting. If you check twitter's #26ActsOfKindness feed, you will see the thousands of people and their inspiring acts of kindness. I watched this video today - it's a simple concept - a man celebrates a homeless woman's birthday. It's in Spanish, but you don't need to know another language to see the beauty in this.

Sandy Hook Elementary School.
If you haven't heard, there was another shooting this morning. This time it was at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. 18 children are reportedly dead and 8 adults. This comes within a week of a mall shooting near Portland, Oregon. Although I'm a big advocate for our rights, I think it's time we revisit the 2nd amendment. When will this stop?
My thoughts and prayers go out to the families effected by today's shooting - especially for those children who were killed. As a kid, I was always really excited for Christmas. Those innocent children were probably excited too.
