We get paid to sit in front of the computer and pretend to do work, but really, we're finding out what Lindsay Lohan had for breakfast and googling awkward pictures of cats. Jon Kyl Is a Great Senator #NotIntendedToBeAFactualStatement

I'm sure you've heard the controversy over Senator Jon Kyl's (R-AZ) ridiculous statement that abortion is "90 percent of what Planned Parenthood is about." If you haven't, well yeah, he stated that on the Senate floor.

The truth? 3% of what Planned Parenthood is all about is abortion. The rest? Providing important healthcare services and family planning to low income families and women.

Here comes the good stuff. Jon Kyl's office responded to his false numbers and blatant disregard for the truth by stating that what he said on the Senate floor was "not intended to be a factual statement." ARE.YOU.KIDDING.ME? Isn't this the UNITED STATE CONGRESS we're talking about here?!

Well, Stephen Colbert obviously got a hold of this story and turned it into comedic gold. And then started a twitter trend that will, hopefully, live on forever. Watch:
