Oh snaps.

Welcome to the internets. Where most of you spend countless hours during the week. We get paid to sit in front of the computer and pretend to do work, but really, we're finding out what Lindsay Lohan had for breakfast and googling awkward pictures of cats. Here's a toast (a blog toast because drinking is NOT allowed during work...) to all of you 40 hours a week craftsmen. Because let's be honest, we are all craftsmen. Do you know how hard it is to quickly exit a facebook browser?

Emmy Fashion

Yesterday I found myself sitting on the couch watching E!'s pre-Emmy's fashion show and then spent a few hours watching the Emmy's before realizing I was bored and needed a glass of wine. Before the wine, however, I did get to check out some of the fashion and was pleasantly surprised with a good chunk of what the ladies were wearing. And then there were the inevitably moronic choices that always seem to weasel their way onto top celebs. The color of the night was red, red, red...just like my wine. Let's check some of it out...

Sofia Vergara looked stunning in Vera Wang...and had on some killer earrings.

Kate Winslet wore a boring red Elie Saab dress.

Christina Hendricks and her boobs showed up in a Johanna Johnson dress that failed to impress me.
Julianna Margulies gets my vote for ugliest dress of the year in Armani Prive. Did she get caught in a  hail storm before she showed up?

Gwyneth Paltrow came in a close second for worst dressed in Emilio Pucci. Midriff was so 1999.
Zooey Deschanel wore a pink Monique Lhuillier dress that I would have loved if she didn't decide to wrap herself up like a christmas gift.
Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev wore one of my favorite red dresses of the evening by Donna Karen. But Nina probably looks good in anything she puts on so it's almost unfair to everyone else.
Lea Michelle looked very Lea Michelle-y in a stunning red Marchesa.
And Jon Hamm was there. What a babe.
