Welcome to the internets. Where most of you spend countless hours during the week. We get paid to sit in front of the computer and pretend to do work, but really, we're finding out what Lindsay Lohan had for breakfast and googling awkward pictures of cats. October is cool

So here's some shit you may never have wanted to know about October....but now you do:

1. October is the most popular birthday month

2. October 5th in particular is said to be the most common birthday (I'm sure it's no coincidence that it's roughly 9 months after New Years)

3. October is national apple month as well as national seafood month

4. October is when all foot long sandwiches at Subway are $5

5. Halloween....aka slut fest.

6. Breast Cancer Awareness Month

7. Oktoberfest. Enough said. (fun fact: it started in 1810 w/ a horse race....yawn) Beer wasn't introduced until 1892.
