Oh snaps.

Welcome to the internets. Where most of you spend countless hours during the week. We get paid to sit in front of the computer and pretend to do work, but really, we're finding out what Lindsay Lohan had for breakfast and googling awkward pictures of cats. Here's a toast (a blog toast because drinking is NOT allowed during work...) to all of you 40 hours a week craftsmen. Because let's be honest, we are all craftsmen. Do you know how hard it is to quickly exit a facebook browser?

Bullied News Anchor Speaks Out

If you don't know, this month is National Anti-Bullying Month.  Everyday, people of all shapes, sizes, ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations and anything one can be judged on, are bullied, ridiculed and made fun of.  Although bullying is predominant for school age kids, everyone can scrutinized.  A news anchor has been in the news lately for a letter she received from a viewer that read:

Hi Jennifer,
It's unusual that I see your morning show, but I did so for a very short time today. I was surprised indeed to witness that your physical condition hasn't improved for many years. Surely you don't consider yourself a suitable example for this community's young people, girls in particular. Obesity is one of the worst choices a person can make and one of the most dangerous habits to maintain. I leave you this note hoping that you'll reconsider your responsibility as a local public personality to present and promote a healthy lifestyle.
Please check out her emotional response in the video below.  And if you have even a couple more seconds, please check out the efforts of my girlfriend's anti-bullying non-profit Be More Heroic.  They are currently up for a $50,000 grant and if you vote (it literally takes seconds), you can help them in their efforts.  Please VOTE HERE.
