Not only did Barack Obama win the presidency last night, but Referendum 74 passed in Washington State, allowing same-sex marriage, as did similar measures in Maryland and Maine, an openly gay female was elected into the Senate (Wisconsin's Tammy Baldwin), and marijuana legalization passed in Washington and Colorado.
It's a new dawn, it's a new day.
