Oh snaps.

Welcome to the internets. Where most of you spend countless hours during the week. We get paid to sit in front of the computer and pretend to do work, but really, we're finding out what Lindsay Lohan had for breakfast and googling awkward pictures of cats. Here's a toast (a blog toast because drinking is NOT allowed during work...) to all of you 40 hours a week craftsmen. Because let's be honest, we are all craftsmen. Do you know how hard it is to quickly exit a facebook browser?

It's a Beautiful Day in California!

I awoke this morning to an AP news alert informing me of the Supreme Court's decision to strike down The Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and return marriage equality to California.

Insta-Tears of happiness.

This decision is monumental in our quest for progress in America. California joins 12 other states who have approved same-sex marraige, and since the news broke, I've witnessed a constant outpouring of love and support. I already have friends texting me pictures of rainbow cakes and dresses, readying themselves for their fabulous weddings to come. And Goddammit, it's about time.

And yet, the issue itself remains perplexing. The fact that we have to fight for the right to love is as bogus as Amanda Bynes' Twitter account. But as our progress evolves, we continue to live in a moment in which we're proudly participating in change. Step by step, day by day, we will continue to support what is right, what is just, what is real. No freedom 'till we're equal, damn right I support it.

And to Prop 8 I say:
