Oh snaps.
Welcome to the internets. Where most of you spend countless hours during the week. We get paid to sit in front of the computer and pretend to do work, but really, we're finding out what Lindsay Lohan had for breakfast and googling awkward pictures of cats. Here's a toast (a blog toast because drinking is NOT allowed during work...) to all of you 40 hours a week craftsmen. Because let's be honest, we are all craftsmen. Do you know how hard it is to quickly exit a facebook browser?

Secret Stash
One of the coolest things I ever learned from my babysitter growing up was how to hide my "secret things". Okay, I was 10 years old - get your head out of the gutter. My secret things included my rock collection and all of my money I was saving up (I made it up to $23 one time!). She told me to grab the thickest book I could find (a dictionary for example) and carve out the middle pages so it would create a secret box. Then I would place the dictionary back on my book shelf and my parents (especially my brother) had no idea. I ended up taking my "dictionary" to college where it proved much more useful haha. I came across this video which showcases a designer's efforts of creating secret stashes. His efforts are a little more fancy than my dictionary. Did you have a secret stash? My brother used to keep a chest locked up in his room. I used to spend hours sitting on it trying to figure out how to open it. I never figured it out...
