Last night I found myself youtubing The Spice Girls for about 3 hours. Yes, 3 fucking hours. I don't know why - maybe it's because if Youtube existed in 1997 I'd probably spend days and nights googling the Spice Girls. Anyway, I came across this performance of them doing "Say you'll be there" at the MTV Awards. Do you remember this? I remember recording this on VHS and watching it everyday after school for months. Sometimes I wish I could go back in time...you know, when MTV played music videos, when high school was "so stressful" because I didn't know what to wear to the football game (hint: it always ended with our school colors...DUH). Ugh. It's tough being old. Yes, 25 is old. I definitely didn't think I'd be sitting in an apartment in Koreatown youtubing The Spice Girls. Oh life.
