Oh snaps.

Welcome to the internets. Where most of you spend countless hours during the week. We get paid to sit in front of the computer and pretend to do work, but really, we're finding out what Lindsay Lohan had for breakfast and googling awkward pictures of cats. Here's a toast (a blog toast because drinking is NOT allowed during work...) to all of you 40 hours a week craftsmen. Because let's be honest, we are all craftsmen. Do you know how hard it is to quickly exit a facebook browser?

Woman Dead for 8 Years Without Anyone Noticing

In horrifying news from Australia: A deceased elderly woman's remains were found in her home 8 years after she had died. EIGHT YEARS. She vanished from the public in 2003 and no one, including her relatives, neighbors or government officials who continuously paid her welfare benefits into a bank account that sat untouched, bothered to find out why she had vanished.

Finally, the woman's sister-in-law called the police to say she hadn't heard from the woman in EIGHT YEARS and that's when they discovered her body. Apparently, the two had a fight EIGHT YEARS AGO and stopped speaking.

This is just bazaar. And terribly sad.

(Sorry... this is the only image I could think of to include with this story...)
