Huffington Post recently put out a list of 11 cool spots around LA to go birdwatching. I admit, it doesn't sound like the most exciting activity, but there is more to it than just watching birds.
Each location presents beautiful scenery as well as other interesting wildlife to gawk at. Sometimes it's a good idea to ditch the city on a Sunday afternoon and hike to a unique spot. And birds can be QUITE beautiful. Even prissy, pretentious Los Angeles birds.
